The Organizer
Knowledge Innovations in conjunction with Deloitte Ghana is organizing Ghana AI summit and Awards

Participation and Eligibility
The Ghana AI Summit and Awards is open to individuals, organizations, and projects that have made significant contributions to the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Ghana.
Participants must comply with all entry requirements specified in the nomination guidelines.

Nomination Process

1. Nominations must be submitted through the official online nomination form provided by the organizing committee.
2. Each nomination should include detailed information and supporting documentation demonstrating the nominee's achievements and impact in AI.
3. Companies and individuals can submit multiple times in different award categories.
4. Knowledge Innovations reserves the right to cancel a category if there is no substantial community and partner support and/or less than 10 submissions per category.
5. Knowledge Innovations has the right to disqualify a participant if they submit incomplete entries, attempt to use fraudulent methods or do not adhere to the rules.

Last submission date

1. The last day to apply is December 1st, 2024.
2. Knowledge Innovations  reserves the right to extend or shorten the application period.
3. Companies and individuals can enter the Awards by applying online using this form.
4. The application form must be completed in English.
5. If and once the request has been approved, we will send a confirmation email.

Free of charge
Entering the Awards is free of charge for all categories

Evaluation Process

1. Entries will be evaluated based on criteria such as innovation, impact, scalability, sustainability, and relevance to AI development in Ghana. The judging panel will consist of industry experts and professionals with expertise in AI and related fields. The judging process will be conducted impartially and objectively, ensuring fairness to all nominees.
2. The final voting score in the Ghana AI summit and Awards category will be determined based on SMS votes, online votes and votes by the Jury. Please note that any attempt to manipulate the voting will become visible in system and may lead to disqualification.
3. Voting in all other categories has a supportive effect and is not a key deciding factor.
4. In most categories the jury is evaluating three key pillars and rating each nominee submission based on their Nominee Profile/Bio, Key Contributions, Achievements & Nomination Reason, Growth & Impact.

Finalist process
If and once a submission has been selected as a finalist, we will send a confirmation email requesting (optional) supporting materials:

1. YouTube or other video link.
2. PDF attachments (up to 3)

Finalists will be announced on 28th February 2025

Awarding process

1. The awards ceremony will be on 27th March 2025, attendees have to purchase a ticket join the ceremony. Winners will be announced and honored at the Ghana AI Summit and Awards ceremony.A representative from each winning entity must be present to accept the award, unless prior arrangements have been made with the organizing committee.
2. In case a finalist is disqualified, the next best nominee will be selected, based on the internal rating by the jury.
3. Entries that do not meet eligibility criteria or fail to provide required information may be disqualified.Misrepresentation of facts or unethical behavior during the nomination process may lead to disqualification.

Composition and mission of the Jury

1. Jury members will be announced after the voting period (January 2025). Attempts to influence the outcome through solicitation of jury members is not allowed.
2. To prevent conflicts of interest, jury members will be excluded from voting for an Award category where they participate as an individual, company or team or if they or their company has financial ties with one of the nominees in the category.
3. The jury will review the Nominees online and evaluate them according to predetermined equality criteria.
