With over 12 years of extensive experience, he possesses a profound understanding of Data Pyramids, Taxonomy Development, Ontology Engineering, Metadata Management, Natural Language Processing and Semantic Technologies, enabling organizations to enhance their data infrastructure, harness their data for high-level cognitive tasks and decision-making processes, and drive innovation and efficiency.
Currently, Emeka serves as a Knowledge Engineer Consultant at the Land Portal Foundation in the Netherlands. His expertise spans across Knowledge Representation, Ontology Engineering, Data Analytics, Semantic Technologies, Data Modeling, and Linked Open Data. Emeka excels in constructing cognitive systems that emulate or simulate human decision-making, facilitating the resolution of both simple and complex problems through innovative data infrastructures.
Emeka's professional journey is marked by his passion for Linked Open Data and Artificial Intelligence, driving his commitment to design and implement systems that transform how we live and work. Prior to his current role, Emeka co-founded two startups in Nigeria and Kenya, worked with the leading Semantic technology innovator, Openlink Software, and provided consultancy services to various financial institutions across Africa, enhancing their data capabilities and strategic operations.
Emeka holds a Bachelor's degree in Geology, which complements his technical skills with a unique perspective on data and its applications. His multifaceted background and unwavering dedication make him a valuable asset in the field of knowledge and AI engineering.
