Dr. Mark Yama Tampuri Jnr is an academic and also serves as President of the Ghana Fintech Academic Network. With extensive experience in both public and private sectors, Dr. Tampuri is a leading expert in fintech and digital commerce in Africa. He also provides consultancy as a Technical Expert on Responsible Digital Payments for UNCDF/BTCA. His areas of expertise encompass Digital Economy Development, Fintech, Financial Regulations, Consumer Protection, and Inclusive Finance.

A Fellow of the Fletcher School Leadership Programme for Financial Inclusion at Tufts University, Dr. Tampuri also holds multiple professional certifications, including Certified Digital Finance Practitioner (CDFP), Certified Fintech Risk and Regulatory Compliance Professional (CFRRCP), Certified Gender Equality Changemaker, and Chartered Management Consultant.

In his academic and policy roles, Dr. Tampuri is a staunch advocate for consumer protection within the financial sector, ensuring that digital financial products and services are safe, transparent, and accessible. He has been instrumental in training and developing digital economy curricula for educational institutions and fintech programs, significantly advancing education in these fields.

His career spans public sector policy, international finance, institutional reforms, and economic systems management. Dr. Tampuri actively contributes to global initiatives aimed at creating inclusive policies for secure and affordable financial transactions in the digital economy.

Dr. Tampuri holds a PhD in Management Science and Engineering, a Master’s in Finance, and Bachelor's degrees in Banking & Finance from Jiangsu University, Coventry University, and KNUST. Additionally, he has a Certificate in Law and Regulations of Inclusive Finance from the University of Luxembourg. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Consultants and an expert for the Digital Euro Association, celebrated for his exceptional dedication to inclusive digital finance and development policy.
